I have a dog that I would follow in the adoption-A-Pet Web site that is run in cooperation with the Humane Society. I wonder if anyone know the cost of adopting a dog through it, perhaps, and what is the process.

I've seen people pay more than $ 300, adopt a puppy. Require sterilization, vaccinations, etc., before they take the dog home with you. So basically the same people who can not afford to buy a dog, not afford to save the life of a dog either.

Are you in UK? In the U.S. SPCA. I have my lab is available for $ 85. I have a dog at the county pound and paid $ 76, including 50 for sterilization.
