Sound Recording Equipment for my Band? - professional recording cameras

I have a group in progress with some of my friends, or on the covers of several songs for some time. We are now at the stage that we start recording on YouTube, but our quality of its camera is terrible. I am looking for a cheap tape recorder that has a good sound quality, without which everything separately. I am looking for anything professional, just a little piece of kit that I can just hit in the singles and paste it on my computer. If someone can give me some suggestions will be greatly appreciated, thanks:)
